Submitting a Film or Video
Con*Cept 2009 is currently looking for entries. If you would like to submit your film or video, please contact conceptsff@conceptsff.ca
Do you have Supernatural (including Horror), Science-Fiction or Fantasy film or video to submit to the Video Room?
Just download, print, and fill in the PDF submission form, and mail it with your film before Sepetember 1st , to the address indicated on the form.
Note: Regular mailing fees notwithstanding, there are no submission fees. You can send as many films as you want. Please use public postal services, please. Private companies are unreliable.
Nevertheless, every production screened in Con*Cept's video room respects three truly important criteria: quality, genre and copyrighting. Consequently, the video room is about unearthing Science-Fiction and fantasy movie gems with the written permission of their respective authors.
Just like film festivals and avant-garde art shows, the video room offers viewing regular movie theatres and television channels cannot: independent films, fan-made films and TV programs, cult movies, short films and much, much more. Quite simply, the video room is the place people go to see both future and past audiovisual treasures. Some of its content might be screened in other movie theater a few months after the event; some of it might never leave the dust of dark and obscure cult video shops (or the endless space of the Internet); the rest might get or has already received some success in video stores or on specialty cable channels.
